The Premier League are set to offer live television coverage of every Sunday match from the season after next in a major change to their broadcast rights strategy.

Mail Sport has learned that as part of a planned increase in the number of live games shown each season from 200 to 270 all Sunday matches could be available by the start of the 2024-25 campaign, which is likely to lead to fans being forced to adapt to a variety of kick-off times throughout the day, from midday until 7pm.

If introduced, the change would bring a major cash boost to clubs playing in the Europa League, as all their games on the subsequent weekend will be televised, netting them around £1million-per-match in a Premier League facilities fee based on the current payments.
