Pirates have used a total of 14 different players in the outfield this season. Everything from light hitting middle infielders, to recent trade acquisitions, or draft picks.
There is obviously Bryan Reynolds. Jack Suwinski is staking a claim with how he’s produced so far. Bligh Madris is off to a hot start.
Cal Mitchell has had his moments, but as most have noticed, his arm leaves a lot to be desired.
Travis Swaggerty didn’t receive much of a chance, but I would imagine sees another extended opportunity.
There’s still even a handful of outfielders on the IL set to return at some point.
