A very interesting analysis on rest edge from Sharp Football Analysis this week shows how teams are either hurt or helped by the NFL schedule makers based on various metrics of rest a team can get on a given week. Overall, the Denver Broncos were absolutely dunked on by this 2024 schedule to the point where only one team — the San Francisco 49ers — were impacted in worse ways.
There were a lot of metrics that went into this, but I’ll just talk about the couple that impacted the Broncos specifically.
